null formula not working?
Hi there, I am trying to add a conditional column where if the column value is blank, it will return me a "Y" value while if it is not blank, it will return me a "N". I believe the formula I am ...

xiuqinglim20 "blank" is not null. You have "" over there. So working expression is if [Column1] = "" then "Y" else "N".

Hi, xiuqinglim20 apparently [Column1] <> null otherwise you would see null in PQ editor in Column1. Something is in there - maybe space (" "). Try this formula:
each if List.Contains({null, " "}, [Column1]) then "Y" else "N"Just find out what is in Column1.
