#nan difference in M and DAX

In the later part of the Relational Operators chapter, it is mentioned: "If either operand is #nan, the result is false for all relational operators". Similar content is mentioned in the IEEE 754 standard, but in fact, in M, #nan will be less than any value. For example: #nan < 5 is "true".
So far, this is not a problem, but this expression will evaluate to "false" in DAX.This result is confusing, why is it so?
