I'm new to PowerBi handling and would like to know please is it normal that loading data through OData Stream is so heavy?

First check the minimum requirements of hardware to install and run Power BI Desktop smoothly.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-get-the-desktop#minimum-requirements
x64 version of Power BI is prefered in many cases.
As for the slow performance, it may due to connecting too huge data from data sources.
If so, maybe you could try to add url filters to reduce data amount.
URL Conventions (OData Version 3.0)
