drop down instead slicer
Based on my example:
1. Create a slicer in sperate sheet (Product)
2. Create another Pivot Table and drop only ( Product) in the filter section
3. Under the Slicer Report connection, make sure both pivot are connected to the slicer.________________________

If your question is related to Power Pivot and you need to have a slicer converted to a dropdown, it is not possible. Instead, you can 1. Create a slicer
2. Create another Pivot Table and keep only the field which you in the slicer in the filter
3. Under the Slicer Report connection, make sure both pivot are connected to the slicer.
4. Hide the Slicer

Please check the attached file. I hope you wanted to filter a chart by a drop-down instead of a slicer.https://1drv.ms/x/s!AmoScH5srsIYgYI-_rdNDaruJbdTXQ?e=a01Ewf
