We have someone in our office connecting power bi with an access 2013 database. Someone told him he needs to use the 64bit version of Power BI Desktop to be able to schedule a refresh of his data. Is that true?
i believe that 32 or 64 bit desktops generate the same type of .PBIX file and ultimately it's that file is what gets published to the service and gets refreshed, so it should not matter if you used 32 or 64 bit version of the Desktop
