Hi, I have a problem with one report in power bi. The graph in power bi shows a different value than the sum in the power query. I do not understand how this is possible? A checksum is made in the power query, which is then deleted.
@Petan65 is your powerbi importing all the rows which are visible in the PowerQuery window. Please use the rowcount function to asertain this fact. If despite importing all rows, your powerbi desktop is not showing the correct sum, then you also check if there are any null values or filtered applied while importing the data.
if above thing is not the problem with your dataset then you may please share your powerbi file.

Hi @Petan65
If you showed some data that may be of help. What value do you get in a Card visual?
So you have a single column in PQ that you are summing? And this column is for a single period (month)? Are you using Transform -? Statistics -> Sum to sum the column?
In the visual is it definitely charting the Sum of the column? Double check the aggregation.
In PQ what is the data type of the column? Is it set to any abc 123 ? If so, you can sum that in PQ but PBI will see that as text and won't aggregate (sum) it.

Its hard to explain. I have some number data in column "trzby cz" which I want to show in graph, when I do check through that "transformation ->sum" (afterwards this check is deleted) it doesnt show same results like graph. (check=/graph)
Hi @Petan65
I don't quite follow. Your query results in a single value? But you then delete that? What value are you charting in the visual?
If you use the same value in a Card visual what value does it show?

In the visual, I map the sum for the period (here it's November), but there are a lot of lines in the "trzby (czk)" column, so I make this quick sum for checking. The visual should show the amount for the period, which is identical from the sum of the whole column.
