Greetings,
I have been tasked with Automated testing in PowerBI.
I'm learning that there is no product available (unless a 3rd party has been created recently) to perform QA tests against PowerBI reports.
One idea is that PowerBI reports be exported into excel sheets. Then scripts can be ran to test the excel sheets.
If this is possible, is there a way for a CLI or script to ask Report Server to export all reports into excel sheets?
Thanks. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
@sinistersparrow,
There is no built-in method to auto export data from Power BI report to Excel. An idea about this issue has been submitted in this link, please vote it up.
A workaround is to use R script as alanhodgson's post in this similar thread.
Regards,
Lydia
