What is the difference between SharePoint Online List and SharePoint List?
Hi HamidBee - The ApiVersion and Implementation options are different. You will see more option for the SharePoint Online wizard.
I think "SharePoint List" will work with On-premise Sharepoints using ApiVersion=14. You will need data gateway to access as well.
SharePoint Online uses ApiVersion=15 and Implementation=null.
My preference is Implementation 2.0. It is faster.

Thanks for the clarification. I've now read online that Microsoft plan to discontinue SharePoint on Premise soon. Whilst on the topic of SharePoint please feel free to have a read through some of my other questions that haven't been answered yet regarding SharePoint:
