What Version of SQL Do I Need to Work with Power BI Desktop?
I'm confused as to what version of sql I need to work with desktop and can't seem to find and answer. Do I need standard, BI or Enterprise?

rropp I don't believe there is a restriction on version of SQL if all you are doing is connecting/importing data. There are limitations when you start talking about SSAS, but that is dictated by the SQL edition.
This would be really easy to check, just download the Desktop (free) and connect to your SQL DB.
