Web.browsercontents currently only supports anonymous credentials

I am trying to upload a live forms spreadsheet using a URL to my dashboard. I had the original link uploaded to my report but when I moved the form into a group on sharepoint it changed the URL of the spreadsheet connected to the form. I am trying to add the new URL and then append it to the old data but i keep recieving the message in the title "Web.browsercontents currently only supports anonymous credentials." Does anyone know how i can get past this?

Hi @Anonymous

To connect to a file located in Sharepoint online, you can use the Web connector. First go to the folder in Sharepoint online, select the file you want to connect to and copy its direct link from More details section.

Then go to Power BI Desktop, use the Web connector and enter the copied file link in URL box. Choose Organizational account type and use your sharepoint user crendentials for connection.

In this way you can connect to a spreadsheet located in Sharepoint online with your sharepoint credentials.

hello there.. so there´s no way to revert to Anonimous credential, since I´ve choosed Windows Credendials when I first tried to get data from web? thank you

Hi @MarciaRodrigues

Do you want to modify the crendentials? You can clear permissions from Data source settings and reset it.
