Using Query Results as Parameter option

I have a parameter called "Templates" and I would like the end user to be able to select from our large list of templates. I can query a list of these templates then copy and paste the results into the parameter, however the list is constantly updating with new templates so I'd have to manually correct the list every so often. Is there a way I could use a query to pull in the possible template options for the parameter?

I would say no, but I don't fully understand the use case.  Are you building a template app inside a template app?
