Under standard mode gateway getting error as cant be added to gateway for schedule refresh

Hi Team

Need your help we are facing below screenshot issue when we are tring with our custom connector by authenticating API url and key. What is the procedure to connect with standard mode gatway and why we are getting error like cant be added to gatway. pelase give solution to overcome this issue

Hi @lakshmi_sagar ,

Since you are using API data source, here are some ways to add to the gateway:

1. Choose the web data source and use your API url and API key to connect
2. Use ODBC connector to connect to your API source and add it to the gateway, you can refer: DirectQuery Any On-premises REST API from Power BI Service 
3. Use REST API to create datasources to the gateway, please refer: Gateways - Create Datasource
