I cannot refresh my semantic model in PowerBi. I obtain my data from Atlas MongoDB and from the Web. I can refresh on PowerBi Desktop but when i publish it on the workspace. Thank you!

Now I have another error: 

The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed. Timeout value: 7200 sec.

My semantic model is 19MB but it lasts more than 2 hours to refresh on PowerBI Desktop, so it makes sense that the timeout error appears. Will incremental refresh help? Or should I use the large model storage format? The problem are the tables that I am importing from Mongo, so the data cannot be partitionated into small datasets. Thanks!

that is not "normal".  Is your Mongo data source really that slow?  Can you use different drivers?

Incremental refresh is an option but at 20 MB it's a big overkill.

Hi @AlexMF ,

Please verify that your data source credentials for Atlas MongoDB and the Web source are correctly configured in the Power BI service first. You'll need to update these credentials after publishing.

Ensure that the data sources you are using are supported for refresh in the Power BI service. As suggested by lbendlin. For Atlas MongoDB, you may need to use a gateway as well.

Are both of these data sources visible from the Power BI Service?  If not then you will need a gateway.
