Unable to refresh the data from Excel workbook on OneDrive Business

We have stored a simple excel file which has a few linked tables. This file resides on the OneDrive Busines folder. We are able to create the reports and the dashboards without issue. But when the file is updated on OneDrive, the manual refresh is only able to update the Reports or Dashboard when I am either on the Reports or the Dashboards respectively, i.e. when i am on report and click refresh dataset, only the charts on the reports get updated. Similarly for dashboards. Is this the expected behaviour?

Thanks for reaching out. Does the report\dashboard that didn't get updated immediately after the refresh get updated after some time (a few minutes) or it never updates? Alos is that behavior consistent with any OneDrive workbook or with just that one?
