Unable to load the visual

Hi, I am unable to load visuals for donut chart & matrix chart . I have experienced the following error. Could someone please assist or suggest any solutions for the same.

That looks like SQL Server error number 8623. So is this a DirectQuery model? If so troubleshoot with the PBI desktop performance analyzer and see what kind of SQL queries it's generating.

Anonymous dbrowne , I am maintaining a direct query and trying to transform one of the column with a space as delimeter using the EXTRACT option. This says the query is not supported in Direct query mode.

Could you please suggest any other way which is supported in direct query?
