Please try the latest on-premise data gateway( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53127&751be11f-ede8-5a0c-058c-2ee190a24fa6=True ). If issue persists, please share the on-premise data gateway log files and event log with us.

I got it fixed after installing it on a non-domain PC and opening the relevant ports on the firewall. Problem solved.
