Unable to connect Datasource. On-premises datagateway is not connecting?
Hii,
I have installed On-premises data gateway on my serer where my excel file resides. Its not personal.
I have two servers with two databases and excel files on two servers. So I want to create data refresh from two servers on PBI reports.
Getting following error when trying to connect Dataset to Gateway datasource...?
What User Id and Password does it need?
Please guide how to configure it? Thanks

Username and password are required when adding Excel data source within gateway. Please review my reply in this similar thread about how to find username.

I was entring user name without Domain Name.
The correct way is
User Name: Domain\User Id
