elliotdixon Check your cached data sources. Once in awhile it seems like these can go bad, or a change somewhere to password or configuration impacted them.
You can edit or remove your cached data sources by going to File - Options and Settings - Data Source Settings - click on "Global Permissions" highlight the data sources that are effected and either update them or delete them and reconnect. This should resolve any connection error as long as all the permissions are there.
Community Championelliotdixon For the impersonation error you're getting try ensuring that the user you're using to connect to the SQL server is mapped as a user on the actual database ie even if your user is a admin make sure that it is also mapped to the db that your report is accessing.

Hi ankitpatira cheers for the info but that does not seem to be the issue. I get the Unable to Connect error even before I try and connect to a database. It appears when trying to connect to the server without defining the database.
