Unable to Connect to SQL Server
It seems that your data source settings may have changed. Go to File, Options and Settings, Data Source Settings, and check/confirm Credentials, Encryption (set it to Off) and Privacy Level (try None).
Good afternoon,
I am a new Power BI user and cannot connect as well to a database on the SQL Server. I have the following error and I don't know where to find the solution. Thanks a lot for your help :
« Une erreur s'est produite pendant la lecture des données du fournisseur : 'Impossible de charger le fichier ou l'assembly 'System.Transactions, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' ou une de ses dépendances. Either a required impersonation level was not provided, or the provided impersonation level is invalid. (Exception de HRESULT : 0x80070542)' »

Hi Sebastien,
Unfortunately I am not a SQL expert. However,
have you confirmed that the credentials you are employing do in fact allow a remote connection to the SQL Server?
Regards,
James

Hi James,
Thanks for your post. Yes, the credentials used is able to make a remote connection and it is the administrator of the SQL Server.
