Unable to Connect to Azure Blob Containers

Hi,

I tried to connect Power Bi Desktop to Azure Blob Containers.

After entering the URL, I received an Error Message "Status Code 404, The specified resource does not exist"

When I ask my colleauge to connect using Power Bi on their PC, using the same URL and Account Key, it works find.

For additional info, I did enter wrong URL and Account Key before. But now, every time I enter the correct URL, it straight away gave me the error message.

Please help on how resolve.

Thank you.

Regards,

Ketut

Hello,

I had the same problem with a blob storage configured as 'anaonymous' whereas it required an API key .
Solved by going to File / Options and Settings / Data source settings / Global permissions

and update or clear the configured data source permissions.

Hey @KetutW

I too faced the same issue recently but it was sorted out after replacing blob with dfs in the link & am not pretty sure why because the same blob link worked till december end and this year it's not working for me.
So, try replacing blob word with dfs & give it a try & if you already solved this in any other way then please post it over here so that we will also look into same.

Hope it's works

I suspect this is a permission issue since the configuration works for a co-worker. This is Power BI, correct? You could get unusual results like this in Excel's Power Query if you don't have the same license level. Office 365 Business for example doesn't have all of the same connectors that an E3 or E5 license has.

DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
