Two data sources - I can't schedule update

Hello everyone.

I am building a data model.

I have two sources, one SQL and another excel file in a server folder where the Gateway is installed.

If I have only the SQL source in my model I do'nt have problems to schedule the update.

I can not find where to configure the gateway for this file or this folder.

Any work with multiple data sources, where one of them is an excel file in a shared folder?

Regards!

@gabrielvigo,

Please follow the guide in this similar thread to add Excel file within gateway.

In your scenario, please make sure the connection string you use in gateway matches that connection string you use in Power BI Desktop, once you add all data sources(SQL Server and Excel) within gateway, you will be able to set schedule refresh for your dataset.

Regards,
Lydia
