Trying to combine Multiple Excel files from SharePoint on PowerBI

Hello All - 

I am on the June 2018 update of PowerBI desktop and when I attempt to combine multiple files to from a SharePoint list all that occurs is "Evaluating Queries" followed by no further action. I  never make it to the window entitled "Combine Binaries" as notated in the documentation attached below. Has anyone had a similiar occurance and could advise?
