Hello!
I was able to take the PM Average Cost per Job Column to divide the PM time cost/# of shifts. I tried doing the same with Safety Average Cost per Job to = Safety time Cost per Month/# of Shifts and it keeps telling me this error. Please let me know what I did wrong here:

is it because there are too many calculated columns in my table?
Mind you, this is not in power query. Its just from the tables on PowerBI. I tried to use power query, however the Saety time cost per Month column is referencing a different table with rates that i am not able to access on the custom column feature in power query.
would greatly appreciate any feedback.

It's a circular dependency so it's like:
ColumnA depends on ColumnB which depends on ColumnA
It's not clear from what you've posted but look at the calculated columns and how they depend on each other.
The full error message will help you but sometimes these things can be hard to decipher.
