There is no available Gateway

Hi All ,

I have created a report with using following sources -

  • Snowflake directQuery (3 table)
  • Onedrive file (1 table)
  • Created a table with DAX function using one drive file (1 table) - Just distinct command

I can see the data in PowerBI desktop but when I load to my workspace. It is showing an error that 'There is no gatway available'. I have download it personal gateway and it is giving me two error -

  1. One or more cloud data sources for this dataset have been deleted. I have refreshed the data in desktop for all the tables and it is working perfectly fine. No data source have been deleted.
  2. Screen Shot 2022-03-28 at 7.39.37 PM.png
  3.  If I hit on apply button, it is throwing the below error -
  4. Screen Shot 2022-03-28 at 7.42.21 PM.png

I am not sure what the issue is. Can someone please help me? This is really urgent for me.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please try to configure an on-premise gateway(standard mode) to check it again.

See: Setting up Power BI Data Gateway

You can also click 'See details' on the error page to find more error information about it.

A gateway is not required for cloud sources.  Can you try without the gateway?  If you'd like to use the gateway for Snowflake, here is documentation on it (for SSO configuration):

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-connect-snowflake
