The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure

Hi,

 

Hope this finds you all well.  I'm trying to install the Power BI Gateway - Personal application.  Seems to install fine, but then when I try to sign in I get "The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure" - My crediantials work perfectly well on the Power BI site.

 

Any help here would be appreciated.

    Anyone from Microsoft's Power BI team care to add anything to this?  I'm getting a similar problem setting up On-presmises data gateway.

     

    Knowing what the validation procedure, that the certificate is having trouble being validated against would be useful.
