The On-premises data gateway installation has failed (May 2019 version)
I was able to install the December 2018 version back in February 2019 but when I try to install the May 2019 verison, it fails.
OS: Win 7
Tried:
Uninstalled previous version
Ran the Fix .NET tool
Restarted the server
Logs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ycq3i5c4vj4b7j2/On-premises_data_gateway_Logs.msi.zip?dl=0
Out of ideas.
Help!

From the error message, I'm afraid you'd better uninstall the previous version of on-premises data gateway and then install the latest version of on-premises data gateway.

Which log did you share above?
Please share the Installer log and event log.
In addition, please check if you hit this.
If you want to solve the issue more quickly, you could create a support ticket in Power BI support.
