Table doesn't automatically appear when creating DAX statement
When I create a Dax state using a field in one of many tables, The table doesn't auto populate. Why? i.e Measure = TotalYTD(Table2[Field1]... Table2 doesn't autopopulate. If I type it in manuall...

Hi Del235 ,
The first parameter of TOTALYTD is an expression that returns a scalar value. So please try:
Measure = TOTALYTD(SUM(Table2[Field1])...)

That was an example that actually works. Other tables don't.
