Steps in advanced editor

There used to be a way to merge all the applied steps in the advanced editor, so that it would only show up as the first step in query. But I can't seem to remember how to do it.  Any suggesetions? ...

    Anonymous first step only

    let
    Source = 
    [step1 = 1,
    step2 = 2,
    stepx = step1 + step2][stepx]
in
    Source

    no step name at all, just a query name

    [step1 = 1,
step2 = 2,
stepx = step1 + step2][stepx]

Hi Anonymous ,

You can merge all the applied steps in the advanced editor by selecting the last step in your query, then holding down the Shift key and selecting the first step. This should highlight all the steps in between as well. Once you've selected all the steps, right-click and choose "Merge Queries". This will create a new query with all the steps merged into one. Then, to make this new query the first step in your original query, simply drag and drop it to the top of the Applied Steps pane.
