I am currently working with data where a column is made of of serval layers of sub-catagories as seen in the link below.
I made an attempt to seperate them out into different columns for each level, but since the final level for some catagories are different to other, it started to repeat the final level, as seen here;

I was hoping there would be an easier way, or if there was some function built into Power BI where I pass the inital data and give it a hierarchy list and you could organise it there that, I have the hierarchy here;

I was hoping to get something like where, you select a catagory and it would show the data split into the catagories one level down.

You can import the data which is in your second image to Power BI Desktop, then create a matrix visual in Power BI.
