Hi,
I am looking for connecting the Share Point folder and getting the high-level data but the Sharepoint online list does not give me exact folder data inside the folders. Please Help!
From the below SharePoint folder- I need to read data from 3 folders which has columns with data (2nd page) -
I followed the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/sharepointonlinelist
but getting below error as I have Docx in my folder it's unable to read that data
Hi @Anonymous ,
Use Sharepoint folder connector and apply filter to get the list you need.

I used and I get above error. As my folder has too many files.
structure looks like -
Shared Document > folder1 > folder-2 > files(has docx, xls), folder3, archives
Hi @Anonymous ,
you may need to filter also the data types that you only need to resolve the issue
I did as below and after that i get error -
Hi @Anonymous ,
As per the screenshot, the list only contains Microsoft Word documents not supported in PQ. You can only be able to import documents type as per your second screentshot.
To combine files, you must apply the filter for the same document type (e.g. xlsx / xls).

Thank you!
I need the details from Docx and yes it's not working. Hope in the future will have that option.
Hi @Anonymous ,
One workaround is save all files as PDF and use the PDF connector to import those files.
