I am getting error in power bi report which uses excel from sharepoint loacation. the report was working fine and suddenly started showing this error.

Manichin_0-1713192293241.png

But if i open the spreadsheet from the sharepoint and close it the data loads properly in power bi. Again to test if i restore the previous version getting error again. Note that i am not doing any change when i open the file. Simply if i open and close the spreadhseet it works fine.

Suggest me some solution to get rid of this error.

Thanks

Hi @Manichin

May I know what did you restore as you said "Again to test if i restore the previous version getting error again."? Restore the previous version of what?

The "Transform File" query is a function. If you are using the SharePoint folder connector and combine files, the "Transform File" function is binded to a query called "Transform Sample File". Does the "Transform Sample File" query work correctly? Did you edit the code of the "Transform File" function directly?

Jing
