Sharepoint Site Configuration / Power BI showing only root level folders
Just a heads up:
I submitted a ticket to the Microsoft POWERBI team, and the kindly fixed the issue.
Now, when trying to connect to a specific Sahre Point subgroup, you'll be asked to submit the group's URL address, avoiding the "by default" pointing to the top-level Sharepoint site.
Kudos to the Power BI DEV Team... Awesome team!

Let me be more precise with this issue.
Our Sharepoint server has the following top-level URL:
https://mycompany.sharepoint.com
This root level is defined by the following Folders: FormServerTemplates, SahreDocuments, SiteAssets, SiteCollectionDocuments, etc.
For the purporse of this Visual Management project, we created a new site with the following URL:
https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/sites/mycompany/SharedServices/DashboardsProject
In here, we're planning to dump the datasets that will be imported/synced with PowerBI.
The problem is that PowerBI only shows the top-level folders of https://mycompany.sharepoint.com; our datasets are located on https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/sites/mycompany/SharedServices/DashboardsProject and we can't find a way to point to that site and get the files.

Just FYI/Update.
PowerBI Documentation states the following:
Can I use an Excel document from a SharePoint Online document library?
If the document is in the root Team site, you will be able to connect to it from Power BI by going to Get Data > Files > SharePoint - Team Sites. If you have a subsite, those will not be available, and files will need to be moved to OneDrive for Business.
- Yeah, I just realized that after I posted my reply, you are using the "Get Data" from the Service. The Service tends to have more limitations. You probably want to put that Excel file on OneDrive to get around this.
Yeah, It seems to be a System limitation. I guess the only way to tackle this problem is with a OneDrive Business License.
