Sharepoint Child Site List Error
Hi,
Connecting from Power BI Desktop (64 bit) >> Get Data >> Sharepoint Online List.
I can successfully connect to a Sharepoint List, however when I try and connect to the same Sharepoint child site I get the error:
"Sharepoint request failed: The underlying connection was closed. An unexpected error occurred on a receive"
https://esharenew.companyname.com/sites/ParentSiteName/ works ok
https://esharenew.companyname.com/sites/ParentSiteName/Child%20Site%20Name/name/ receive error
All help appreciated, not sure if anything to do with the name having spaces (%20)
I have obviously tried replacing %20 with a space, but no joy. I am also the Sharepoint site administrator
Probably not related, but I can connect ok to the child site with Sharepoint Designer, using the URL
https://esharenew.companyname.com/sites/ParentSiteName/Child Site Name/name/

Does it return expected result when you enter "https://esharenew.companyname.com/sites/ParentSiteName/Child%20Site%20Name/name" in Browser? If there is no issue in Browser, directly copy "https://esharenew.companyname.com/sites/ParentSiteName/Child%20Site%20Name/name" from browser and paste it in Power BI Desktop to connect to SharePoint Online child site.
In my scenario, I enter URL using the following format, it works well.

Really appreciate the time taken to respond.
The url below works fine when I paste it in to web browser
"https://esharenew.companyname.com/sites/ParentSiteName/Child%20Site%20Name/name"
but again no joy when I paste into power bi ;o(
Just to confirm the parent site works fine and I can connect ok.
Presume it is not a security issue, even though it works ok for parent site (maybe I have changed something in the site settings)
