SharePoint: Request failed: The remote name could not be resolved: 'domain.sharepoint.com'

Hi All,

I have a user who has a report that refreshes fine in the Service, but it doesn't refresh in the Desktop after changing his password. He's tried editing and clearing the permissions in the data source settings and logging out of his account and logging back in.

I'm just curious as to why he's receiving this error message only in the Desktop.

Thanks in advance

Hi @v-kkf-msft,

Yes, the user is able to access both SharePoint Online and the URL of his data source is correct.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Is it possible to access SharePointonline with a browser in his environment?

Is the URL of the data source correct?

Best Regards,
Winniz
