Share Enterprise Supported data in PowerBI
I would like my enterprise BI team to be able to share data to be consumed on the PowerBI site. The Personal gateway seems to not have the features for the enterprise to share and monitor the data.
We would need to have a support group that can manage changes and monitor for failures. Seems the Personal gateway is more for individuals. Am i missing something?

You aren't missing anything. There isn't any administration, or monitoring in Power BI as of right now. As to current ways to implement group projects, look into creating a "group" in PBI. You will be able to share, collaborate and implement Organizational Content Packs to your end users. Seems to be the best way to solve this currently.
