How do i go about using this scenario? meaning in powerbi as to say set an alert to a user if temperature is above 30% celcious as an email? Do i do iteration function like MAX(.sum(table_name.) or Conditional function like IF temperature is 30% then do.... or else below do this...... You wouldn't want to use SUM... there is no point in summing tempatures.
What you probably want is to show the tempature at the latest time point.
Something like:
temperatureLatest = SELECTCOLUMNS(TOPN(1,[TemperatureTable], [DateTime],DESC), "Temperature", [Temperature])
