Seek advices: text to date

Hi everyone,

I was trying to transform texts into dates with the below formular in power query editor; however it did not seem to be working. I am totally new here, so would appreciate your kind advice. Thank you.

text:

201909

201910

201911

into:

09/01/2019

10/01/2019

11/01/2019

= Date.From(DateTime.FromText([YourColumn] & "01", "MMddyyyy"))

where 'Source' is your previous step.
