Salesforce Service reports - Sales Manager and Sales Rep as PBIX

Hi,

The 2 new Sales Manager and Sales Rep reports are a good place to start quickly with Salesforce. These however do not allow for any customization of the Data Model - they are only available online. Is Microsoft planning to make the PBIX available so users can customize the data model? If not, is there any way to download the data model/report into Power BI Desktop or edit the model online?

Hi @RamC,

In Power BI Desktop ( version 2.38.4491.282 ), there are OOTB data source types: Salesforce Objects and Salesforce Reports for us to connect to Salesforce. In your scenario, you can try to use those two data source types to get data and modeling.

In addition, product team have been starting to develop feature for us to download Power BI Service report to modify in desktop. You can comment and vote on this idea: Download Reports to a .pbix file.

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

Best Regards,
