SAP BW connection to PowerBI Datamart
Dear PowerBI Community,
I tried to test the new Datamart solution in preview mode on a Gen2 environment. For test purpose I tried same SAP BW connection I use with my local PowerBI solutions via PowerBI Desktop. I used the same connection information without success.
System tells me SAP .NET Connector is missing. On my PC installed is version:
So I don't know if the version is wrong or if this results at some general issues with the new Datamart engine. Any ideas on that?

Datamarts are in the Azure cloud. They support a limited set of connectors.

Hi MLbker,
Power BI Datamarts are no longer supported. For a new implementation, use Fabric Dataflow Gen2 with a Warehouse instead.
If the required SAP BW data is exposed through compatible OData services, you may also evaluate Power BI Connector for SAP: https://www.sap.com/products/data-cloud/partners/metrica-software-inc-power-bi-connector-for-sap.html
It provides an OData endpoint that can be consumed by Dataflow Gen2. It does not connect directly to BEx queries, so compatibility depends on the services available in your SAP environment.
