Hello,
I'm able to connect to our SAP BW with direct query. The cube is imported perfectly in PowerBI.
But, if i place a simplex table on it an try to display whatever field i'm getting a CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER error.
Anybody has got the same ?
@Anonymous,
I have no issues when creating table visual using fields of SAP BW cube in DirectQuery mode of Power BI Desktop.
Do you get any issues when selecting same fields or run queries in Bex Query Designer? Based on my research, the above error could throw when you enter values in fields in wrong number format, I would recommend you check if you have typed values contravenes the rules for correct number formats in SAP data source. There are similar blogs for your reference.

We have it working now by connecting to the cubes instead of the BEX queries.
(But still a lot of other issues)...
