Hi Anonymous,
1. Check if the Apply security filter in both directions is enabled in the relationships.
2. Please test as the manager account in the Power BI service follow this: Validating the role within the Power BI service.
3. As the dataset has RLS roles defined, please make sure the manager is a member of one role.
4. If issue persists, please share some sample data and the role you defined, so we can try to reproduce it on our side.
