Replace Values - Text & Cell Value
Hello,
I am trying to Replace values, where the result would be a concatenation of a text & a cell value. For instance "Transaction Date 12/06/2022", but I am stuck with how to combine "Transaction Date " & each [Transaction Date] for the replaced value. What would be the way to link the two values together?

Hi Anonymous ,
Based on your sample data, I reproduced it and you can modify your formula as follows to get your expected result.
= Table.ReplaceValue(#"Changed Type","",each "Transaction Date "&Text.From([Transaction Date]), Replacer.ReplaceValue,{"JE Memo"})Best Regards,

Is "Transaction Date" always the same text? What if you add a custom column with formula = "Transaction Date"&[Transaction Date]
This is to create a new column of with Transaction Date 12/6/2022

Hi Anonymous ,
Instead of replacing the value,
create a custom column and you can simply concatenate them.
From your screenshot, the Transaction Date is a Date datatype
You can do like
"Transaction Date " & Date.ToText([Transaction Date])
hope this helps
