Repeated refresh failure with personal gateway
I am having multiple refresh failures on different datasets. I have 6 datasets that refresh daily. Three of the datasets seem to be failing no matter how I reset the refresh sschedule.
Is there any issue if the refresh schedules on different datasets overlap or occur at the same time with the personal gateway?

Which data source did these datasets connect to? I tested about the dataset connect to SQL Server database or SSAS import mode, the dataset can be refreshed successfully via personal gateway.
Please share us the detail information so that we can try to reproduce the issue.

Qiuyun YuThe data source is a SQL Server database but the queries also connect to reference tables that are built in excel. All refreshed today without failure but the failed refreshes have been random and with different datasets, so I am not hopeful it is fixed until I a few days of successful refreshes have happened. My question was mostly in theory if the personal gateway has limitations of how many dataset refreshes can occur at once on the schedule or if overlaping refreshes can cause failure?

Sorry for the late response.
What do you mean about "The data source is a SQL Server database but the queries also connect to reference tables that are built in excel."? Did you create a report in desktop connect to both SQL Server database and local Excel file? Please share the detail information with us so that we can try to reproduce the issue.
