Rename Enterprise Gateway

Is there a way to rename an already configured Enterprise Gateway (pointed to a database server)?  I was unable to rename the gateway, so I unistalled it.  However, when I tried to re-intall the Enterprise Gateway it kept the old name and would not allow me to enter new connection information. Any help would be appreciated.
