Hi all,
How do i remove the time-stamp shown on my X-axis line graph? I did not have the issue last week, and when I refresh the file this week I notice the additional time stamp being added to my X-axis graph as seen below. I have formatted my dates to just (d mmmm yyyy), I do not know what is the underlying cause. Please enlighten thank you.
@anonymous1124
Ideally for the categorical axis "solution" you would have a date table with a complete set of dates. The date table would be related to the fact table via date. The date table's date column would be used as the x-axis, which then wouldn't have gaps.
Regards
Hey @anonymous1124
Please try to format your date column to short date format (dd/mm/yy)
and also convert the x-axis type to categorical
I hope it works for you
If it helps please mark my solution as accepted!
Good day @anonymous1124
If you only require to show a few days at a time a workaround is to change the x-axis from continuous to categorical. The x-axis labels will then display as you have formatted them. I'm sorry, I don't have a solution which retains the x-axis as continuous.
Hi Collinsg,
Thanks for the solution, it worked but yea still hope I have a solution by not changing the X-axis type. I also noticed that not all the dates in a week is shown as seen in the picture below
missing: 22,23,24 june 2023. It supposedly will show up as well. This is my code.
