Hello team
I am trying to build a graph with a large dataset (recording one value each hour, up to 4 years) of equipment that last undetermined time.
I was able to do it with de data in row order. The problem is that there is no relationship with another category, which divides the population in groups by their run life (1 year, 2 years, 3 years....).
I tried to pivot the table in power query, but the number of columns is up to 25k. I dont think this is the right step since the relationships are bond by the columns headers.
It is a way to build this relationship?
I am pretty new with Power Bi, but not limited to learn more in order to get this done.
Thanks in advance
Joan
Hi @Anonymous ,
If the relationship cannot be established directly, you can create a calculated column to establish the relationship, or use a measure to match the desired result.
If you are still confused, you can provide me with some sample data and expected results.

Hi @Anonymous
I'm not really sure what you want as a result. Can you provide some sample data and example(s) of the results you want?
Hard to tell what the data is from a small picture and the column names mean nothing to me.
Whatis this relationship you want to create? Does the category you refer to already exist or does it need to be created?
Regards
Phil
