Hi,
I am currently struggling some issues related to my company network firewall on a port 5432. I refresh my Data Set via Power BI Online, and this Data Set is based on a Postgres db in Azure Cloud, I provided required credentials for database.
When I connect to PBI Online from outside company network, I have no issues refreshing the data set based on the Postgres db via port 5432, but from inside the company network I am given an error. That made me really confused about the way PBI refreshes data. Does it first connect original PBIX file on my local machine (sounds ridiculous but I ran out of idead) instead of joining directly to the Postgres in the cloud? If not why is so that there are issues only from inside the firewalled network?
Thx for reply guys! 🙂
