Refresh data (SQL connections)in powerBI blocks users in navision to input data.

When I refresh data query power BI desktop via de SQL server log in of power BI, all other users in navsion are blocked for input.

The only way to unlock is to close power bi desktop.

This is when I refresh "data ledger entry" table in the navision structure.

The login I use for powerBI has only read only acces to the SQL database.

 

How can I avoid Power BI 'locks' the table?

    Hi ndebaets,

     

    Do you have been able to solve this locking problem? We have similar issues in combination with Dynamics NAV.
