This error occurs when your "Parameter1" is type Table and not type Binary.
Excel.Workbook - PowerQuery M | Microsoft Docs
You would try to add File.Contents() to convert it to binary.

Based on the limited information, it is not easy to trace the error. Reference is not valid, and you may want to go through the "Transformation sample file" to see if you're able to see any reference codes required to update, such as worksheet name.
