Read a value from power bi
Hi everyone!
Is there a way to read a value enter in power bi and then do something with it using power query?

In Power BI Desktop, it cannot support user input the value, you can create a table and input the value and then put the value to a slicer visual for user to choose. then if you want to edit the value at Power query, you can consider to use dynamic paramater in power query, but thr precondition is that the connection mode is direct query.
